An Integrated MSc is a five-year science programme that takes you from a bachelor's degree to a master's degree in one continuous programme. You study one subject such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology in depth.
For CUET UG 2026, 11 central universities list Integrated MSc programmes, 37 in all. The papers asked most often are Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English and the General Aptitude Test. The rule usually follows the subject: Physics asks for Physics and often Mathematics, Chemistry asks for Chemistry. Universities differ in how they count papers. CUSB generally asks for the General Aptitude Test plus a subject paper. Tezpur University, which runs these as 4+1 year programmes, weights Mathematics at 80% and English at 20% for its Mathematics course. UoH uses core subject papers for ranking and English only as a qualifying paper. Visva-Bharati University asks for Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics together.
