UniDrill ("UniDrill", "we", "us" or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights available to you. It should be read together with our Terms of Service. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described here.
We use your information to: create and authenticate your account; provide, personalise and improve the Service; track your progress and show analytics; process payments and prevent fraud; send you transactional messages and, where permitted, updates and offers about CUET and UniDrill (by email, SMS or messaging apps); maintain security; and comply with law and enforce our Terms.
UniDrill's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We use Google account data solely to authenticate you and operate your account. We do not sell Google user data, do not use it for advertising, and do not transfer or disclose it except as necessary to provide and improve the Service, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition.
We process your personal data on the basis of your consent and to perform our contract with you. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us, though doing so may limit or prevent your use of certain features.
We do not sell your personal data. We share limited data only with service providers strictly to operate the Service — Google (authentication), Razorpay (payments) and Cloudflare (hosting, security and analytics) — and with authorities or other parties where required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer. These providers are bound by their own privacy obligations.
By creating an account you agree to receive service-related and CUET-related communications from us. You may opt out of promotional messages at any time via the unsubscribe option or by emailing us; we may still send essential transactional messages relating to your account or purchases.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. Payment and tax records are retained for the period required by applicable law (which may be up to eight years). You may request deletion, subject to such legal retention obligations.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
We use essential cookies and local storage for login and preferences, and privacy-preserving analytics to understand and improve usage. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Most browsers let you manage cookies; disabling essential cookies may affect login and functionality.
Subject to applicable law (including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and withdraw consent, by emailing [email protected]. We may verify your identity before acting on a request.
UniDrill is intended for CUET aspirants, some of whom may be under 18. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts this policy on your behalf. We do not knowingly collect personal data from a child except as provided through such a guardian.
Our infrastructure operates globally, and your data may be processed on servers located outside India. By using the Service you consent to such processing in accordance with this policy.
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that we do not control. We are not responsible for their privacy practices; please review their policies separately.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version, with its "last updated" date, is always posted on this page. Material changes will take effect when posted; your continued use constitutes acceptance.
For any privacy question, or to exercise your rights, contact our Grievance Officer at [email protected]. In line with applicable Indian law (including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), we will acknowledge your request within 48 hours and address it within a reasonable timeframe.
