BCom is a three-year degree in commerce. You study accounting, business, economics and related subjects. It is a common route into accounting, finance and business careers.
According to the CUET UG 2026 data, 20 central universities list BCom, including BHU, the Central University of Jharkhand (CUJ), Mizoram University (MZU) and the University of Delhi (DU). Accountancy is the paper asked most often. Business Studies, Economics and the General Aptitude Test come next, and some universities add English or Hindi as a language paper.
The pattern changes a lot from one university to another. BHU asks for Accountancy, Business Studies and the General Aptitude Test. CUJ asks for Accountancy, Economics and Business Studies. Central University of Tamil Nadu (CUTN), Central University of Andhra Pradesh (CUAP) and Central Tribal University of Andhra Pradesh (CTUAP) list only the General Aptitude Test. DU uses a list of combinations that include a language and Mathematics or Accountancy.
Tip: Accountancy plus the General Aptitude Test keeps you open for most of these universities. Check each university's rule before you finalise your papers.
