BTech Computer Science and Engineering is a four-year engineering degree. You study programming, algorithms, computer systems, networks and software design. It leads to software and IT jobs, or to an MTech.
For CUET UG 2026, 7 central universities list it: CUAP, CUJ, CUPB, CUTN, HNBGU, MGCUB and Pondicherry University. The papers asked most often are Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology. The usual pattern is Physics and Mathematics plus one more science paper. CUJ asks for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. CUPB takes Physics and Mathematics plus one of several, including Chemistry, Biology and Computer Science. CUTN asks for Mathematics and Physics plus Computer Science or Chemistry. CUAP lists only a Computer Science paper but expects Physics and Mathematics at 10+2. Two listings are different. HNBGU offers a lateral-entry BTech for diploma holders. MGCUB lists a five-year integrated BTech-MTech.
Minimum marks at 10+2 run from 45% to 60% for the General category. Tip: Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and Computer Science together cover every university here.
