Integrated MA Economics is a five-year programme that combines a BA and an MA in economics. You study how people, businesses and governments make decisions about money and resources. It suits students who want to go on to a master's degree and research in economics.
According to the CUET UG 2026 data, 4 central universities list this course: the Central University of South Bihar (CUSB), Mahatma Gandhi Central University (MGCUB), Tripura University and the University of Hyderabad (UoH). The papers asked are the General Aptitude Test, Mathematics, Economics and English.
The rules differ. CUSB and MGCUB list only the General Aptitude Test. Tripura University asks for Mathematics and Economics. UoH uses the General Aptitude Test as the core paper, with English as a qualifying paper that needs at least 50 marks. Merit at UoH is based on the General Aptitude Test score.
Class 12 rules differ too. Tripura University asks for Mathematics at 10+2 with 50%. CUSB asks for Economics or Mathematics. UoH asks for 60% at +2.
