Integrated MA Sociology is a five-year course that takes you from a bachelor's to a master's in Sociology without a second admission. You study society, social groups, institutions and research methods. It leads to research, teaching, social sector and policy work.
For CUET UG 2026, 3 central universities list it: CUSB, MGCUB and UoH. All three use the General Aptitude Test. UoH also treats English as a qualifying paper with a minimum of 50 marks, and the General Aptitude Test score is used for ranking. CUSB and MGCUB do not list a second paper in the data. So the most you need is two papers: the General Aptitude Test, and English if UoH is on your list.
Eligibility differs. CUSB asks for 10+2 in any stream with 45% for General, OBC and EWS candidates (40% for SC/ST/PwD). MGCUB asks for 10+2 in any stream with 50% aggregate, and may allow a 5% relaxation for some categories. UoH asks for 60% at +2, and the qualifying exam must have been passed in 2023 or later (SC/ST/PwBD candidates need only a pass). Tip: take the General Aptitude Test and English together. That covers all three universities.
