According to the CUET UG 2026 data, 10 central universities list BA History, including BHU, the Central University of Tamil Nadu (CUTN), Mizoram University (MZU) and the University of Delhi (DU). History and the General Aptitude Test are the papers asked most often. English also appears often.
The papers differ by university. GGU lists only the General Aptitude Test. Nagaland University lists only History. CUTN asks for History and the General Aptitude Test. MZU asks for English and History. IGNTU accepts either the General Aptitude Test or History. BHU asks for English or Hindi plus the General Aptitude Test. Pondicherry University accepts History, Anthropology, Sociology or Political Science. DU uses combinations of a language and other subjects.
