BSc Physics through CUET UG

Offered by 15 central universities · most asked: Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry

BSc Physics is a three- or four-year science degree. You study mechanics, electricity, optics, modern physics and mathematical methods. It leads to a master's degree in physics or to other science fields.

According to the CUET UG 2026 data, 15 central universities list BSc Physics, including BHU, the Central University of Jharkhand (CUJ), Central University of Tamil Nadu (CUTN) and the University of Delhi (DU). Physics is the paper asked most often, followed by Mathematics and Chemistry. English is asked by a few universities.

The most common pattern is Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. BHU, CUJ, CUTN, Central University of Rajasthan (CURAJ) and DU follow it (DU adds a language paper). Others ask for less. Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (GGU) and Nagaland University list only Physics. Mizoram University asks for English and Physics. North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU) asks for English plus either Physics or the General Aptitude Test.

Tip: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics together cover most of these universities. Also check the Class 12 requirement, because several ask for Mathematics in Class 12.
